Gift Guide for Fashion Lovers

Gift Guide for Fashion Lovers

Fashion lovers are pretty much ALWAYS the most difficult people to choose gifts for. It’s mega risky, mega confusing and in many cases, mega pricey.

In this gift guide, I’m aiming to help you reduce the risk, narrow down your options, and help you find something at a price point you’re comfortable with.

Watches

Accessories tend to be the safe zone when shopping for a fashion lover, as A) you don’t have to worry about sizing and B) you can’t really go wrong.

I and MANY other people can’t resist a good watch as they can completely change the vibe of an outfit and add some extra class on no effort days.

I’m not suggesting you re-mortgage your house to buy a Rolex (unless you want to… I guess) so I’ll be excluding the LUXURY brands from my recommendations, but in my experience the ‘higher price= higher quality’ rule definitely applies here.

My picks

Budget: Asos

Mid-tier: Daniel Wellington

Luxury: Michael Kors (Pictured)

Jewellery

Jewellery can go one of two ways when it comes to gifting, but the most important part of choosing the perfect piece is to cater to the individuals’ style.

Choosing more meaningful pieces will always go down a treat, so searching beyond the chain jewellery stores is definitely a great idea if you want to find something unique.

My picks

Budget: Bohomoon (rings)

Mid-tier: Anna Saccone for Stilnest (necklace)

Luxury: Monica Vinader

Shoes

Shoes can be very very risky in terms of sizing, so I’d give them a skip unless you’re absolutely sure. Style can also be iffy so definitely do your research and pay attention to what your special someone regularly wears.

Sneakers are MASSIVELY on trend this year, and if your giftee has a favourite pair, you could always do the whole ‘buy them in a different colour’ thing, or find a similar style from another brand.

My Brand Picks

Budget: Rubi Shoes

Mid Tier: Kurt Geiger

Luxury: Saint Laurent

Bags

A good bag never goes unnoticed by a fashion lover, and any one of them would be over the moon should you add to their collection.

Again, it’s important to pay attention to what your giftee is currently carrying to cater to their practical needs, and do your best to reflect their personal style in your choice.

My Picks

Budget: White Fox Boutique

Mid-tier: Rebecca Minkoff

Luxury: Saint Laurent

Subsciptions

While it may seem old fashioned, magazine subscriptions are still some of the most underrated, yet brilliant gifts for fashion lovers out there.

If you can’t physically see your giftee for Christmas, this is also quite a convenient option, as all you’ll need to post is a card.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can also be a great option if you’re strapped for time or can’t see your giftee as are super easy to get hold of and send.

If they have an Instagram, one of my best tips is to go for a little stalk to see which stores they tag the most in outfit posts, as this will help you to narrow down which one to choose.

And there you have it! I hope this helped in some way and if not, I hope you weren’t too bored.

Until tomorrow, 😉
